Since I launched this blog, there have been ups and downs. Having to systematically add a featured image or insert product visuals into every article — honestly, it was driving me crazy… 😤 So what did I do? I removed featured images, stopped using AI-generated visuals, and oddly enough, the urge to share is slowly coming back without the hassle.

Since I launched this blog, there have been ups and downs. Mostly downs, actually — like the year where there wasn’t a single article 😅. I thought hard about what was really blocking me. The answer? Images! Having to systematically add a featured image or insert product visuals into every article — honestly, it was driving me crazy… 😤

So what did I do? I simply stopped! Now I only add images when I genuinely feel like it. I removed featured images, stopped using AI-generated visuals, and oddly enough, the urge to share is slowly coming back without the hassle.

Having a blog these days is essential, in my opinion. Social media is fine, but you’re publishing ephemeral content on platforms you don’t own that can disappear overnight. Sure, it’s easy for visibility, but those networks should really be seen as a doorway to content you fully control. 🚪✨

I honestly don’t know whether this blog is being read, whether it’s actually helping anyone. If it is, great! If not, no worries — I just enjoy writing. Sometimes I get the feeling there are more bots visiting this site than actual humans 🤖. But that’s just the way things are these days: people want everything, right now, without taking the time to actually read. They even ask artificial intelligence to read for them and give them the highlights. 🤷‍♂️

Anyway, a short post from a resistant blogger! No ads here, no tracking analytics — only the engagement in the comments lets me know whether it’s humans or robots showing up in greater numbers. No, the internet is not dead… ✊
