On top of that their interface is genuinely clean compared to Pocket. It offers more features too, like sending articles to a Kindle or speed reading.
In terms of quality, there’s no contest: Instapaper feels more professional and is far more pleasant to read. Their font selection is much wider than Pocket’s, and so is their choice of themes. Finally, since January 2016, the team has improved their parser so it pulls articles faster, including articles with videos and photos — Instapaper is closing the gap it had on Pocket in that department.
So there’s really no match anymore!
